Wow! This is amazing! I can't believe that it was getting warm just last week! Now it's snowed! Here is a video that my brother, Adam put together of the fun that we had on the Lake Ray Roberts Dam on Friday. I do like warm weather better, but hey! Soon I'll be tired of it being so hot so I'm not complaining!
We went there with the Harris kids and their brother in law, Tommy Bosworth. His wife could not be there because she is expecting their first child any day now. So exiting!!! Its going to be a girl! We had a baby shower for her last month. It was grand! And now for the video.
My personal favorite part is at 4:00. I'm racing Shaffer and he does a face plant at the beginning of it. I laughed at for so long! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

This truly says it all~

I think that it is wonderful that they said this in public. Although there is nothing wrong with plastic forks and salad, I do agree that men are very effeminate and it is considered "cool" to be so.
We were listening to Doug Philips's Sermon on "Identity Theft" the other day and he was talking allot about this issue.
Who do you want to Identify with? Why do you want to look like a Jonas Brother or Miley Cyrus? Is it because you want to identify with them because they are considered fashionable by the worlds standards?
Every one wants to identify with someone. And the first thing that starts with is the way you look. The second is the way you talk and act. (but I won't get into that right now.) The skinny jeans and the heavy make-up is a way of saying "Hey! Miley is cool therefore, I am cool because I look just like her."
It's funny... I'm not on the topic that I thought I was going to be on. But bear with me.
Who are you identifying yourself with? And is it the right kind of statement you are making buy the way you dress?
I want to Identify with Christ. Sometimes that is hard to do with the way you dress. But if you think of people that you see on the street, some people fit in with the flow of every one else, but sometimes there is someone who looks like a Christian because of how they choose to dress. I want to be like that. For girls I don't mean never cut your hair, wear skirts that cover your feet, and ugly tops. And for boys I don't mean you can't have hair touching the tops of your ears, and wear a plaid shirt, a belt and slacks either. Just... when you look in the mirror ask your self the question,
What is my identity?
The reason some young adults dress they way they do is because they want to express their own creativity and prove that they are an individual.
Now, the definition of individual is,
"Noun- a single human being, distinguished from a group"
And the way to do that is very obvious.
To dress like everyone else!

~Things Made for Christmas~
I made two scarves, a green one for Mrs. Webster, and a black and white one for my aunt in Nebraska. But as I have already given them away, I don't have a picture. And I made a custom pillow case for my dads napping pillow, but that isn't much to see so I wont bore you with that picture. I couldn't think of anything that I could make for Adam, so I gave him money. But here are the other things that I could get a picture of.

This is something different altogether. My friend had a stamping party yesterday. Sammi Jo is back from College for Christmas break, and I got this idea from her. The Patricks have a machine called a "Cuttlebug." You put the design under and on top of your paper and then run it through. It preses it into a patern. Then you rub a paper towel in ink, then rub in on the indented paper. and I looks like this. V

And this is a stamp that I got for Christmas! Isn't it cool?

The Mysterious Islands...
We got to go! Sorry that I didn't get this up right after we went but I've been busy making things for Christmas. Also organizing the swing dancing party/ Christmas party/ Birthday party for my friend Lib. Here are some pictures that I took with my uncles camera. It's funny, i usually get allot of comments on the camera but everyone there seemed to have the same kind!
It was really fun! We had already seen the movie because we ordered it, but then we heard that it was playing in Dallas, so we got to go!
We saw the Moores, Moorlands and the Huestuses. We don't know them very well but we do know the Moores a little bit. You should check out John Moore's website, (www.huemoore.com) Any ways, it turns out that one of our close friends knows Mrs. Philips, so there was a connection there. Since they live in Texas I guess it's not that hard to have a Friend of a friend of a friend that knows the Philips family personally. I got my poster signed by Mr. Philips, Dr. John, Josh, and Virginia. :) She is so cute! I think she is about 3 or 4 years old. She signed every one's poster with ones and zeros. Dad said that she was the smartest little girl because she wrote in digital code.
This is a mirror on the ceiling in the theater entrance area. I'm in a white scarf holding the camera. I think you can see my brother, Adam talking to Joshua P.
I couldn't get a good picture of Mr. Philips because it was so dark. You can see him in this picture. (sort of) I kept wanting to yell "SIT IN THE CHAIR!"
