(What not to do while driving)
I just got back from taking my drivers test! I passed! I only missed 6 questions, and they were questions like,
"What is the fine for driving while intoxicated?" (1,000) (2,000) (3,000) or (4,000)?"
I guessed 3,000, and it was 2,000. Go figure. Who really needs to know that any way?! You have to pay money, that's all! :) When I took the test I felt like I was in prison getting my last phone call, because they had me sit at a closed-in cubical type thing. There was a touch screen test, and a phone beside it. If you listened to the phone, the questions were read by a computerized female voice that sounds like this "When yOu SeE A SIng thaT loOks LiKe thiS, iT meaNs..." I guess it was for people who didn't know how to read. I listened to it just for kicks. :) There were also two that I went through too quickly and didn't really understand the question. After that I took my time and I was happy with the score I got.
I also drove part of the way home. :D :D :D :D :D :D It was the first time on the road, EVER! I didn't really know where the blinkers were. haha! I drove in our neighborhood (30 mph speed limit, me going 20 mph) and at one time there was a car behind me and I tried to slow while I was turning and trying to find the blinker, all at the same time. NOT how you are supposed to turn I know. I think Momma almost had a conniption. But it was fun driving around "da hood".
Now, all of us kids have witnessed how mom advises a learning driver. Not very well. She says everything in three's, and super fast. Such as "AmyAmyAmy!!!", "Slowslowslow!!!" or "Stopstopstop!!!" I laughed so much when I finally realized what my brothers were talking about. :)
Love you Mom!
P.S.
Of course you know that my picture did not come out well. My smile is good but my eyes are half closed (I kind of look drunk) and I look like a guy because my hair was pulled back. At least now I know what NOT to look like when posing for my Licence picture. :D

Break From Bloging
I think my break is over with, but it still might be long intervals in between posts, but that's OK! I have a lot on my plate at the moment, with studying, house work, Church activities, friends and the like. I really do have a lovely life, living freely in America and in Texas, and I love to share it with my friends and even strangers who might happen to come across my blog. I hope it is a bright spot in your Internet wanderings :)

Quilting at Grace Bible
Me and Mamma's Quilts. She was glad it was over, I don't think quilting is her favorite pass time :)
Can you guess what the boys did most of the time?
With the exception of mom, everyone had a great time quilting. We spent an entire week up there, from 8 to 4 or 5 every day. Thank you to all of the Ladies who helped and for being patient with all of us little pesky children :)
