Lots of things have been happening, but since this blog is not my top priority, you have no clue what I've been doing! Lets see... In the past month I've broadened my horizons considerably. I went to my first play ever! It was "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" at the Denton Community Theater. The lead singer wasn't to my taste, but all in all it was a delightful performance.
I also went to Burger's Lake with a rather large group of friends and had a blast. No, they don't sell burgers and Burger's lake, that was the last name of the family who used to own it. There is a platform in the middle of the small lake, a high dive on the edge, a little Kitty diving board in the shallower water. Everything is very layed back and there are huge shade trees that surround the whole place. Most of the time was spent at the middle dive doing tricks into the water. Tyler (my 20-year-old brother) was trying to teach everyone how to do a front flip. If you know Tyler, you know that you are going to be taught even if you don't want to be! No, he's a good teacher. I think its bred into him by my father.
Last year, or was it the year before last, anyway, last time we were there Tyler spent the whole time teaching everyone how to dive. At least we've improved. :) I already knew how to do all that stuff so I was mostly testing to see what I could still do from my former gymnastic days. Turns out I can still do most of the stuff that I did in gymnastics. I found it harder for some reason. If you land the wrong way, it hurts... really bad. And I mean really. That water is relentless. I learned how to crash on a mat, and I never hurt my self. But with water its different. If you learn in the other way first, I suppose you'd think that water didn't hurt. Michael Jester and I were having fun getting each other to do crazy stuff. I said that I would try a trick, if he would try it right after me. I was trying to do a front flip, over-rotate, and enter the water in a dive.
Well, I didn't quite do it all that gracefully... and ended up smacking my face on the water. It hurt my eyes SO BAD!!!. That is to say that Michael decided not to do that certain trick.
Alot of other things have happend to, but I've not the time, nor the energy to tell you. :)
oh Oh OH! I have to tell y'all, I did a dive off of the high dive! And Jordan Webster got a picture of it! Now I shall post a picture of that glorious moment captured on memory card.

Sounds fun! I remember that my experiance at Burger's lake was not quite so much fun...That was back when I was too scared to do anything. I did the slide once and decided to do it again and I cried the second time. LOL! I would probably enjoy it now. I thought the first group pic was kinda funny cuase of the life-gaurd in the background. Don't ask me why I thought that was funny...
