Texas Snow!

It snowed on the 9th!

Who doesn't love snow?
(in small quantities)

When we came home from church, my friend Allison Rose, and I made snowmen! She said that she had never made one before, so (since apparently my brothers think it's too childish) we made three! The faces are made out of Sweetgum balls (a kind of seed that falls from the Sweetgum tree), and I brought out silly scarves and hats so they wouldn't be under dressed. :) We had lots of fun, but there wasn't much snow on the ground after we finished. Haha! Take a look!

Job 38:22-30

22 Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,

23 Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?

24 By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth?

25 Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder;

26 To cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is; on the wilderness, wherein there is no man;

27 To satisfy the desolate and waste ground; and to cause the bud of the tender herb to spring forth?

28 Hath the rain a father? or who hath begotten the drops of dew?

29 Out of whose womb came the ice? and the hoary frost of heaven, who hath gendered it?

30 The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen.

Haiti

I have just started following this amazing blog (http://shiningstarsintheuniverse.blogspot.com/) called "Stars in the Universe." Gillian Adams is the author, and she is a fantastic writer who truly loves the Lord. The Blog is all about her mission trip to a place called "Jacob's Well" in Haiti. I'm pleased to say that I know Gillian personally, as she attends the same church as my family does. Their whole family is a wonderful testimony for Christ. There are four kids, plus they have adopted an adorable girl from China. Check out the Family's blog about how they adopted Lidia! http://adamsfamilyjourney.blogspot.com/

Allison, I know you would like her blog!

Snow Birds

1/10/2011
Thank you Uncle Mike!
(And Thank the Lord for the Telephoto lens!)

Who knew there could be beauty in between trash cans?

My brothers Cat

I love the way cats look. So majestic and beautiful. Praise the Creator!

New Years Eve at Church

Uncle Mike gave me the 5D camera again! I will be posting pictures that I took with it while I had it. Here are some pictures from 2010, and early morning of 2011! We had a fun time at church. Games were played, food was devoured, and good friends enjoyed fellowship with one another. I made Humming Bird cup cakes. And I made everything that went on top. After we got home, Adam told me that Jordan wouldn't eat the cup cakes because they were too "Girly" :) And I agreed with him entirely. More for the girls!

Darling Friends whom I'm blessed to have!
